    AESTHETNIK x Oak + Fort x Sofar Sounds

    Two months in the making. Can’t believe I/we successfully pulled off Aesthetnik‘s very first solo show in New York City – in partnership with Oak + Fort and Sofar Sounds, who provided the beautiful space and the live music respectively for opening night. With a fashionable turnout (spanning folks from Refinery29 and Highsnobiety to some of the most popular Instagram influencers on the scene), amazing music from local artists Cautious Clay, Russell Elliot, and Matty Rico, lively open bar, and of course NIK’s incredible art, it was for sure a night to remember. Pretty proud to have the very first relatively large-scale event I produced from start to finish under my belt. Now for some R&R.

    Don’t miss it: Aesthetnik’s Harmonizing 3 will be on view at Oak + Fort in Soho until October 25th.

    OVERT City Girl

    { Kenzo sunglasses // Oak and Fort jumpsuit // Äland mesh top // izzue foldover shorts // Fenty x PUMA Trainers // Oak and Fort choker // Marc by Marc Jacobs watch // Nike fuel band // Rebecca Minkoff nail polish // Sennheiser Momentum headphones // Overt Noho Backpack in leather }

    Had the pleasure of hanging out with OVERT this past weekend over some matcha and a doggy walk to the park – I even tidied up my apartment for the occasion! Nala of course leapt at the opportunity to photobomb every possible photo, but I’ll allow it. (Also, peep my wall art by the amazing Aesthetnik. How lucky am I to have someone in my life who will share his creativity and passion with me and also pour it out onto a canvas for everyone to see.)

    For a tiny glimpse into my life and what I do every day, head over to OVERT to check out my interview. They say some very incredibly nice things about me that make me blush…

    And yes, I do have two phones.

    Take Two

    Back to MoMA PS1 for another round of photos – it’s always interesting to see how a different eye behind the camera can yield such a different mood. Copped new Y-3s and BAPE during a whirlwind trip to Japan and figured it would be fun to try to style them; I’m still slowly (but surely) dipping more into the streetwear aesthetic and it’s a brand new world. Still haven’t really figured out how to properly style my new(ish) hair though – shaggy lob with fringe. Any ideas?
